GETTING THERE
lanao Travelling to the Land of Promise is more fun via RORO. Bus lines in Cubao, Manila offer good services for first time RORO travelers. It is both convinient and affordable. Be prepared for a 2 day sea travel going to Cagayan De Oro where you will take a 3 hour ride via bus bound for Marawi City. Fair is Php 75 per person.
FIRST STEPS
The Aga Khan Museum inside Mindanao State University Campus it houses a number of indigenous art by the Maranaos such as comb, paintings, earth colored clothes, music, instruments, tools, and weapons. Mindanao State University has a golf course where visitors can play 9 hole game. The Torogans are the royal houses of the Maranaos built by lower class citizens for their Datu. Kilometer Zero Point Marker a landmark from which all distances in Mindanao are measures against.
NATURE ADVENTURE
The Agus River between Saduc and Lilod in Marawi City. The Lanao River famous for being the deepest lake in the country with 2,300 feet above sea level you can get there by riding a jeep for 20 minutes from Marawi City. Fare costs Php 100 pesos Bagang Beach in Marawi City
